My Life Story
In 1967, I was born in Leeds , England to Peter & Eugenie the middle of three children.
We moved to Scotland where I took part in many school presentations, plays and talent shows, winning runner up in national competition when I was 11. When my family moved to Redcar in the North of England, I pursued an avid interest in rugby, athletics and girls performing all at the highest level. My DJing career actually started at the age of 16, when I was asked to cover a slot in a dodgy seaside nightspot. After that, I was hooked.
The next few years were a blur. I went off to university in Essex to read law, got bored and went through various work incarnations including insurance salesman, jeans shop assistant and record store clerk. All the while, I was earning good money through DJing and eventually I made the decision to let my entertainment side win. Unless I chased my vocational talents, I would have to keep fighting with the need to get a 'proper job' and never find out just how good I could be given the right chance. I signed up for my first summer season on one of the great British holiday resorts as part of their resident entertainments team. It was my most formative education. I learned everything about people, life and bingo. I can never tell you everything that happened in the next year and a half without risking a court case, but most importantly, I learned how to entertain.
On my return to the 'real world', I studied my post-graduate diploma in radio journalism and went to work for the BBC as a freelance presenter & producer. I worked with everyone from popstars and politicians to pantomimes and puppets. I also became regional PR manager for the Princes Trust, ran a magazine, organized the North East's biggest careers carnival and became project leader for Middlesbrough Youth Against Crime creating an anti-crime package endorsed by HRH Prince Charles and Prime Minister John Major.
Again, I was caught between a career in entertainment and business because everyone said that you can't do both. They were wrong. The truth was you couldn't do it easily in the UK . In a combination of curiosity and frustration, I entered Britain 's first reality TV show Blind Date. Over 20 million viewers tuned in on the 25 th December to watch me win the Xmas show. I contemplated moving to London to chase 'where the action is' and then decided a world tour would be more fun.
Ten years ago, Dubai became the first stop on that tour. DJing was fun, radio was a great opportunity and my previous experiences in the UK allowed me to expand through better opportunities than I had ever been offered before.
I have led the most experienced and dynamic teams handling the major high profile and huge pressure events inside (and outside) the UAE, scheduling live shows and interviews with corresponding advertising campaigns and competition activity.

I am now a certified NFNLP Hypnotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner, Stage Hypnotist, Pranic (Energy) Healer, Life Coach, corporate trainer and motivational speaker.
